1. Introduction

Intermediary AS is committed to respecting fundamental human rights and ensuring decent working conditions in line with the Norwegian Transparency Act. This report outlines our due diligence efforts and how we manage risks in our business operations and supply chain.

2. About the Company

Intermediary AS is a technology and advisory firm based in Stavanger, Norway. Founded in 2020, we offer a cloud-based platform that enables foreign individuals and companies to register businesses in Norway efficiently and securely.

Our core services combine automated digital solutions with professional support. We collaborate with third-party service providers, particularly in hosting (e.g., Microsoft Azure), identity verification, and digital infrastructure.

3. Due Diligence Assessments

Mapping

We have identified the following relevant entities and partnerships:

  • Internal employees and consultants in Norway

  • Technology vendors and subcontractors

  • Partners in identity verification and payment services

Risk Assessment

While our business model poses low direct risk to human rights violations, we have identified specific areas of attention:

  • Use of third-party developers or subcontractors (including foreign service providers)

  • Data handling practices related to identity verification (e.g., passport validation, MitID integration)

Mitigation Measures

We have taken several steps to manage potential risks:

  • Signed data processing agreements and ethical guidelines with suppliers

  • Included contractual clauses requiring compliance with human rights standards

  • Implemented internal procedures for privacy and information security

  • Established onboarding routines to evaluate new vendor risks

4. Key Findings

To date, we have not uncovered any violations of human rights or unacceptable working conditions within our operations or among our partners. Identified risks related to technology vendors and data processing are being monitored actively.

5. Further Improvements

In 2025, we plan to:

  • Expand supplier mapping in case of international expansion

  • Introduce an annual review of supplier compliance

  • Launch an anonymous whistleblowing channel via our website

6. Right to Information

Anyone has the right to request information on how Intermediary AS addresses actual or potential adverse impacts on human rights and working conditions. Requests can be sent to: 📧 contact@intermediary.no
